Yahoo is working to apply of SSL encryption by default to all users of e-mail service has so starting from January 8 next year.
It is based encryption to protect messages exchanged between
the user’s computer and the servers, e-mail in Yahoo, and although it is
a step late compared to the services of other e-mail such as Gmail ,
which applied since 2010 , but it has become a necessary step ,
especially after recent reports of spying on users via Security Agency
national security.
Yahoo had provided an option to apply SSL encryption for
users on a voluntary basis for some time, but starting from the date
mentioned above , it will be applied by default on all accounts .
